Roasted Carrot Cream

Now that the time begins to twist it is grateful to get home for night and have some cream with which to tone the body. In Bezzia we all agree, moreover, that creams are a great resource with which to complete our dinners. What do you think?

The roasted carrot creamwe prepare today is very simple. You will only need four ingredients to prepare it. The key to this, however, is not so much in its ingredients as in the way of cooking them; we will roast them instead of cooking them to enhance their flavor. We will achieve a cream with a more intense flavor and with a color that will attract attention

Carrot, onion, leek and extra virgin olive oil. With those ingredients, what can go wrong? Although you don’t need anything else you can give it a very special touch incorporating tarragon, ginger or nutritional yeast into the mixture. Will you be encouraged to prepare it?


  • 800 g. of carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 1 large leek

  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper


  1. Peel the carrots, cut in half lengthwise and place them spread on the baking sheet.
  2. Add to it the leek and onion clean and chopped.

Crema de zanahoria asada

  1. Then sprinkle and sprinkle with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
  2. Roast in the preheated oven at 210ºC for 40 minutes or until vegetables are made.
  3. Then add water or vegetable broth and crushed. The amount will depend on the texture you want to achieve.
  4. Correct the salt point and reserve until the time of serving.
  5. Serve roasted carrot cream with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
